Today, we’re thrilled to introduce the Guardian Angel (PATRONUS) Token, a community-powered social equity system designed to transform every dollar of support into lasting goodwill for the families of The Angels Child Development Center.
Why PATRONUS, Why Now?
Rising childcare costs are a challenge for many low- and middle-income families. While traditional donations help, a new approach is needed to ensure every act of generosity delivers maximum transparency, accountability, and empowerment. PATRONUS: our blockchain-based token system that anchors every dollar of donor support to a real, redeemable community credit.
How It Works
- Donor Impact: Founding donors establish a sponsorship pool (starting at $10,000), directly funding tuition assistance and vital community projects.
- 1:1 Token Redemption: For each dollar contributed, one PATRONUS token is minted. Each token can be redeemed for a $1 tuition discount (up to $100/month per family), gifted to another family, or used to pay for specific needs or community improvement campaigns.
- Full Transparency: Every token issued, redeemed, or transferred is tracked on the blockchain. Donors and families can see the real-time impact, fostering trust, excitement, and shared ownership of our collective future.
